| The Used – A Box Full of Sharp Objects Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Ok...I don't know why this hasn't been pointed out yet, but he *IS* the box of sharp objects. "i just feel stronger.. and sharper! i found a box of sharp objects, what a beautiful thing" This is about finding comfort in yourself, realizing that you're a good person, "a beautiful thing". "it's our time to shine through the down/ glorified by what is ours" Alright, so the "down" is being depressed, and being "glorified by what is ours" is finding comfort in what you yourself are...as I said. And for whoever said that they ripped other bands of: you're an idiot. Yes, I'm sure that The Used, traveled around, saw all of those bands when those bands themselves were just starting up, and The Used found those band's lack of talent(at that time) to be absolutely insipiring, and so they decided to rip off their sound. What you said might have made sense if Thrice, and Glassjaw, and Finch had been around for 10 years, and The Used decided to steal their sound then, but all of these bands have really only recieved much recoginition as of late. And I don't care who you are, but a year is not enough time to "steal" another bands sound and perfect it. And for the whole becoming popular thing...if you're basing your belief that MTV makes bands bad because they make them popular in the case of a Blink 182, what you fail to realize is that Blink has always written songs the way they do now, they have not changed at all. So if you embrace all of that popular=crap shit you're an idiot. You can't see into the future, and you can't say for sure that when a band becomes popular their songs automatically become shit. YOU may not like them anymore because god forbid you could like something that is now popular, pfft. ...this song is great, and that's all that matters. |

| My Chemical Romance – Early Sunsets Over Monroeville Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Alright, the only line I'm not sure of in there is: "And these words changing nothing" which could be... "And at worst chaning nothing" which would go along with the line before it "...harder at best"..."and at worst...", see? Well, listen to the song, and decide for yourself. ...and I'd have to say that this is one of the best songs on the cd, absolutley amazing. |
