My Computer Technology teacher Mr. Whitecotton says this song is about computers taking over the world. And I have to agree with that. because in some parts of the song it referrs to computer brands and parts and stuff about being made in Japan(where some computer parts are manufactured)like "You're wondering who I am-machine or mannequin " and "My heart is human, my blood is boiling, my brain I.B.M." and " I'm not a robot without emotions-I'm not what you see " and to prove my theory of the world overtaking part look at this lyric "The problem's plain to see: too much technology
Machines to save our lives. Machines dehumanize."
