| I'm not familiar with Unwritten Law and I really don't think I have to be to enjoy this wonderful piece of work. It summarizes my relationship with this horribly wonderful boy that I couldn't put into words, but this does. Every time I hear "all I want to hear is your voice", my heart breaks a little, because these guys have summarized all my hopes and dreams into one phrase. | |

I didn't try to read much into the lyrics from his perspective. I relate to lyrics on how they relate to me. And this song has been my anthem for quite a while now. "You know that I'll protect you From all of the obscene" -- I've wandered lonely and far, looking for someone who will. This song provides me with hope that there is someone out there, wandering for me. |

This song is one of the most beautiful pieces of poetry I have read and listened to. It truly is poetry. Every word in here is needed; every line adds something gorgeous to the whole. It does sound a bit like Chris is giving up, but this line makes it seem all worthwhile: "This is incredible. Starving, insatiable, yes, this is love for the first time." Starving love...what beauty. |
