Oh and the second paragraph first line that KiBa283 put "Getting old for you was slow" i'm pretty sure she sings "Getting over you was slow" just seems to make more sense too since the song is about her missing her love.

I really like this and basicaly yea Jules has it down on wut it means, but it sounds kind of like this 80's song espicaly the first two line of the chours or it just really really reminds me of it and im not sure of which song it sounds like just a feelin....... Anyway DHT found a great way to take beautiful meaningful songs and ballads and add them to a wicked house beat that really makes you wanna dance. Totaly need more from them then one single every year

You’re still you – When he says you’re still you he’s meaning in the sense of everything that makes a person who they are. Through out the song he talks about feeling her pain and how time changed that, about admiring everything about her and have such love for her that she was practically perfect to the point where she could do no wrong in his eyes. I’m not clear if this song is about a girl that has passed away or just about life’s hard pains and lessons of relationships but in the end the main point of the song is that she is still her. After all the happiness and struggles, the ups and downs, that person that she is and everything that makes her that girl that he loves hasn’t changed. “After all you’re still you” is the simplest and easiest way to say who you are and everything I love and admire about you is still who you are.

all the high school shootings still dont seem real to me. but if everyone thinks about it, one person will always coem to mind of how we treated them. maybe we could have been nicer to them and it's nto hard to just say hi to that one person every now and then. the smiplest things can prevented the greatest of tragedies but we dont even realize that until its to late. what does that say about humanity. plus thinking about innocent victims, not only in high school shootings but also everyother shooting in every other country, really makes you think what they could have amounted to. and that just leads you to think about urself and how maybe your just letting life slip right by and mayebe you wont have the privilage of life anymore. i think everyone can be someone huge whether your the next marylon monre or a sizer or even something not in hollywood but just as huge. it's kind of scarey knowing all of that can be taken away in one split second. its funny, they say that animals arent civil.

this song is touching and so emotional i dont understand why it has to vbe directed to one specific thing. whether its about a girl or god or wheatever it doesnt matter. all that matters is that on some level, any level, it touched u and made u believe in something. and what that something is doesnt matter cos its different for everybody. for osme its god, for others its a girlfreind or a boyfriend. whatever it is is not the point or the meaning of the song. the point and meaning of the song is for u to be able to listen to it, be touched by it and start to have faith and believe in something. and if thats what happened to you then thats so great. but dont go putting things into catagories. just leave them where everyone can see it, hear it, feel it, and believe in it, and get something out of it.

i had a friend that died. just one nite he went to sleep and god decided he isnt gonna wake up the next morning. a firend of his sang the chours of this song at the funeral and everytime i hear i pick the church, the crying freinds and family (espicaly how hard i was crying) and is mostly reminds me of the casket in the front of the church. knowing that my firend is in there. i cant hear this song without breaking down with memories even after over 5 months.

this song was the all time favorite song for a friend of mine who died at the age of 18. not only could he play this song with his eyes closed on his guitar but this was him and his girlfriends song. everytim ei hear it i cry as hard as i did at his funeral and i pray for him. to most people who have heard this song and to some people who put in a comment of who mush they like the words or that its a great song to make love to, for me however it's a reminder that someone i knew for a long time was suddenly taken from me. it amazing how much songs can touch oyu in ways you never thought of until one day it just slaps you right across the face. and now for those of you reading this comment of mine will think about it and maybe even start to think of my best friend who died. so there, i just slaped you.... (don't worry its a good thing) it really makes you wonder how much deeper a song goes then just music notes, lyrics, and chords.

i love his voice and just the way the song sung. i agree tantric are going to go far if they know how to deal with record companies. their lyrics are meaningful but not korny or sappy, and again, the lead singer has a very unique voice that'll make anyone want to listen to their songs.

this song is unbelieveably beautiful. what it means is that this guy has this girl in mind and he wants to lay her down in a bed of roses. when he talks about "some blonde" and "tonite i won't be alone" he trying to say that yeah sure i can't girls and friends no problem, but this one girl this one person is what he really wants and she's who he really loves. and until he can lay her down in a bed of roses, he'll be sleeping on a bed on nails. which means he won't be happy unless he with her on a bed of roses
