I've read all of the comments (jeez...it took me so long time...), and I agreed with the both views, those who like this song so much, and those who some how hate, or start to hate this song. I would say that this song is great, with the touching and awesome melody and emotional and bothering lyrics that make people think. I read a lot of comments saying that they relate this song to their ex-g/f or b/f, their children or their situation. Yes, I think this is so successful in carrying out their message, and I myself like it. However, it is also true that there are too many bands in these days that have got similar melodies and tunes like this song (somebody mentioned Nickelback, creed), and some are sick of listening to these kinds. Lets's say those are trends of recent music scene, and I'm sure that those tend to make money. In these days, music just "passes by" our lives, and most of people easily hang on to different bands when they find new bands. I say that PoM just followed the well-known process in order to be famous (the first single that gives attentions to listeners -> the following single that is emotional). I'm not blaming the business world that influence too much of music scene. But I just thought that it's getting ordinary and boring. In that sense, I think the people who had the negative point of view had some points. I still like Puddle of Mudd as an artist so much. Not many bands can produce the song like this. This really has got a strong message that appeals listeners. |

| I didn't really like much of pop songs, because there is nothing that really affects my thought personally. I think this song was really good because a lot of people can relate themselves with the lyrics. I also think the it's got really a good melody, too. | |
