i adore this song to the highest level of respect possible. i went through a very difficult time in my life and it was when this cd came out and this song found its way to repeat on my stereo. it made me cry, it made me smile, it reminded me of myself, it seemed as though he was writing about me almost. at the time i fit the description of the girl he's singing about and the ability to relate to it just made me appreciate it more. |

"dont burn the day away" the whole song is just awesome. by far one of my favorite dmb tunes. the violins in the beginning are so beautiful and the words are just great, i envy dave for being able to write such a beautiful song like this, it seems so easy for him to do to me, but still i wish i could create music as good as his. he's inspiration when he comes out with songs like this. |

one of my fave JEW songs. such a romantic tune :) i love the lyrics, all the talk about time is so completely understandable. "can you still feel the butterflies?" - a classic line. "if i don't let myself be happy then when" - words of wisdom to live by. the song is just beautiful. |

one of the best saves the day songs to date...i love "Well here I am. I don't know how to say this. The only thing I know is awkward silence. Your eyelids close when you're around me to shut me out. I'll make my way across the frozen sea, beyond the blank horizon, when I can forget "you and me" and get a decent night's sleep" so true. i listen to it at least once a day, mostly becuz i'm an emo tokin nerd :)
