| Thank you thursdaylvr... truth be told, these are all pretty accurate, I originally thought it was about a mess of a relationship (helped me out of a serious fix)... then I saw them live June of 2001 in Worcester, MA (AMAZING SHOW, skycamefalling also kicked serious ass).. he launched into the story of how he left McDonald's in his car and drove by the wreck yadda yadda (see above), so the song is literally that... shit man, when he told that story i almost cried myself, Geoff looked like he was about to lose it, he spoke for 2 minutes to a DEAD SILENT room... then they exploded into song and the place went nuts, i've never experienced such a cathartic and energetic live performance (i think a lot of people seriously almost lost it themselves, biggest pile on/sing along aside from a Bane or Stretch Armstrong show)... see Thursday live whatever the cost, you'll thank yourself later, this band is hot and won't be in nice small venues with low stages for too much longer I imagine... | |
