this song is a generalization on people who drift along with music and other people and life but don't really see, or care to see, the underlying truths and meaning of anything around them. they don't understand what "it's" all about. and thus they are doing and participating and not knowing why, doing what they're doing for the wrong reasons. at least thats why i think.
anyway, has anyone else noticed nirvana makin a big comeback on the radio? |

wow i just can't seem to find enough words to express my distaste for this girl and her music. this will be my last post about avril.
anyhow, as many people have mentioned, it's sad that she needs to label and defend herself. her music can't stand on its own. it's not even her music. puh. she's just riding the latest trend, and i bet she'll quickly burn out. not to mention she's one arrogant mofo. shamelessness if the key to happiness i usually say, but she is just over doing it. britney spears looks better in my eyes than avril, and i simply detest britney's music.
and is it true that avril dropped out? if so, that's just awful. i feel pity for her. she's gonna be the girl with the baby in five years.
and might i ask why she puts on this needlessly violent and destructive appearance? she's outright belligerent in her videos. it sickens me. way to be punk rock...koff. |

i see where you're comin from whitepoett. i think she laced some subliminal messages into em or sumptin. we should bust her up for trying to deceive the masses. but yes, i was strangely attracted to 'complicated' when i first heard it, which makes it all that more disgusting. avril tries much too hard. if you ask me, she had to make use of her other 'talents' to get where she is. okay that was harsh but i couldn't resist. but really . if you want good music, listen to cake. radiohead. g love. groove armada. coldplay. but not avril. |

amen. i thought i was the only one who could see through her thin skin. the facade she puts up is surely enough a pretty one, but no amount of decoration can hide the fact she is a complete poser. the act she puts on and the image she projects are the same as what she preaches against in her music. her lyrics and topics are juvenile and unoriginal. all this attention she's getting completely befuddles me. |
