This song (originally a Pink Floyd song) is about completing the "wall." The wall is a metaphor for hiding from your emotions by building a wall around you, the wall is something we all have build around ourselves at one time or another to hide from our problems and emotions, but we almost always tear it down and face our emotions in one way or another. In the movie Pink Floyd the Wall, Pink builds a permanent wall around himself, to shield himself from the pains of loosing his father during World War II (I think), his mother always protecting him, his wife leaving him, and other various problems he faced in his life time. The wall will break you down and destroy you eventually. |

The third eye is a wiccan/pagan concept too, its like he baptism for pagans. I dont really remember everything about it, something to do with navigation and protection. I had my third eye opened by my one friend when i was a wiccan. |

Mushroomhead is a great band, they write some of the most meaningful and complex, but yeah heavy lyrics around. I'm suprised that I havent head of them earlier, because I live in Ohio. Mushroomhead is the only good theing to some out of ohio well besides Pill Effect and Fallen Xero |

Well I think it has to do with drugs and a girl's life. If you own Mechanical Animals (and you have listened to it a lot), you would or atleast should know that Half the cd is about drugs, and the other half is life and thing of that matter. Look at the book there is more clues about what the song is about. Like it has a url to go to a site about coma white. Infact the url is right above the lyrics in the book. |

Well this song was acually was inspired by when someone stole the band's equipment, but the song is about suicide and Metallica has gotten thousands of fan letters from people who decided not to kill themselves becuase of this song. This is one of my favorite songs. |
