I definitely agree with the two people above... I think she could very well also feel alone and like she isn't going to get anywhere, or at least that's how people see her... maybe by straw dog they mean something fake? It doesn't really fit with the song, but it's my best guess.. |

This song sends shivers down my spine and brings tears to my eyes... Cliche as that is, it does... To me, it means that someone just broke up with him, for whatever reason, and he wishes he could take back whatever made her feel that way... and that she was still there for him.. |
