Rrriiiigggghhhtt......NOW for the real story: Someone threw a bottle on stage and hit the guitarist in the head. He still played his solo while bleeding. which was EXTREMELY COOL, by the way. Steve Perry threatened to kick the guy's ass, but that's as far as it went. Its in the video they released about 1984 or so...rent it, and the light will show you the truth...my children. |

One of the bests uplifting songs I've ever heard! Obviously about a child that had maybe killed someone, but realized the mistake and vows to be the best person that he can, despite his tragedy. You have to be some kind of fucking idiot NOT to listen to this song and follow it.

NEWSFLASH!! Steve Perry did not write, or even inspire, this song. It was written by the Keyboardist, who is still with the band, to his wife. He wrote the song for her when he was on the road. A lot of good it did...she divorced him about 6 months after it was released. And you call yourselves fans... |

Interesting views to say the least. It is about WWII and the constant bombing of London. It was a nightmare for children, in which the writers (Roger Waters, et.el) was at the time of the war. Go watch the movie (Pink Floyd: The Wall) and you'll understand. Pink Floyd is also a British Band, by the way. |
