This is a great song. Not even getting into the beat and the great wordplay of Em, I love the line
"So you jet back home, cause you gone get that ho
And when you see her, you're gonna bend her fucking neck back yo
Cause you love her, you never would've expect that blow"
Cause its not like he just wants to beat on her cause she ruined his life with the AIDS, he loves her, and hates what she did to herself and their relationship. Em is a lot deeper than people give him credit for. Best song on the CD, period. Another great one |

Here Dave sings about how, when you are in love, nothing else matters. you can handle anything the world throws at you. You enjoy life, no matter how it is, when you are with your love. You want to hold the moment with her forvever, for life is pefect. Even in the heat or the rain (examples of troubles) the two of you can enjoy life. |

When I heard this song on the Timberland ad, I went out and bought "the very best of". I never regretted it. Its a great CD, filled with songs like this one. So pleasing to listen to, yet it makes ya think. |
