i know this probably isn't the real meaning of it..but i'm listening to this song a lot right now, and this is the time when a lot of my friends, including my sister/best friend are leaving for college and university, and the line "and if you need to find me i'll be wandering the streets dining alone at all our favorite places to eat and drinking alone waiting on the phone to ring ... then i'll walk on and you'll just say that feelings fail and people change" really just makes me think of how it might be when we see each other again, how it might be, how i hope it won't be. it's just a very sad song.

this song brings back memories of a friend that i had for about 4 years, from grade 5 to grade 9, then some stuff happened in grade 9, and we aren't friends anymore, but every time i see the school, or old pictures of us dressing up, or anything like that, i'll wonder if she ever is thinking the same thing..but i know now that i'm better off without her, and that we changed into totally different people. |

this song makes me pause, and remember one night.. it was right after warped tour, and my friend levi and i were sitting in the parked car, waiting for our two friends mandi and julie, and we had seen flogging molly, and he was playing this song over and over..it just makes me think of what a wonderful day that was, it makes me think of good friends and awesome memories..oh, so very corny, i know.. |
