This song adresses several things. The first thing it adresses is the coverting of our society to one of which that reflects a dystopia displayed in "1984" and "Farenheit 451"(Both books I suggest everyone reads). A society in which technology fills lives instead of learning and substance, material objects take over the real. When he says "Looking at life through the eyes of a tire hub" I think he is saying that most have this perspective on life that is less than complet, we dont see the whole picture, some parts are covered up by the spokes and those who have this narrowminded ideology are "eating seeds as a pastime activity" which means that the seeds are ideas and thoughts and they just spit them right back out due to there irogance and lack of knowledge. And when he says "What do yo own the world? How do you own disorder" I think he is speaking to the government which often times act like they do own the world, and hes sayin you dont own shit, you cant own disorder. And the only way to understand and to escape that disorder is to die (Sacred silence) and to sleep. It is a very very true veiw on how our society is, it truely shows the "TOXICITY OF OUR CITY" |

This song to me means, that we often times in life sepperate from the tangible and we stop being supperfiscial and realize that there is more to life, we see the greater picture. And when people do that I really think its like a new awakening like "a waking limb" a new sense of being that is almost like a spiritual high if you will. A journey to into yourself. |
