I think the song is talking about how life is a gift, it almost sounds like he's talking about reincarnation. Our souls are eternal and all the pain we feel while we're alive doesn't matter because our souls go back to heaven, or where ever, when we die and we feel no more pain. We choose to be alive and expirience life. Maybe, but then again, maybe not. |
