Yes it was designed about the ultimate bike crash, all that is true but very few actually guessed the hidden truth in it. Right when the video and song start he is already dead!!!!!! The body he sees in the ditch is actually his own, and what is happening he is remembering the last few hours of his life. you never see the girl he obviously loved and his motorcycle appears in the beginning comes straight from the graveyard. So now the sinners at the gates of heaven and having to leave by dawns light and how at night...

To me this song deals with the initial moments of an infatuation, of a new love. It's that energetic feeling that touches you when you drink your expresso in the morning that he feels when he sees that lady, who's made in heaven for him. He says that he goes crazy for her because she replaces his coffe, she becomes his new caffeine, almost a drug for him. And this is so realistic and it's exactly what makes this song so good. Not mentioning the amazing and fiery guitar work!

This song is about a chain of gold left in a will that was said to once belong to Edward V. The historian Tim Thornton believes that this proves that Richard III is guilty of the deaths of the sons of Edward IV.

I read through the comments, and I really don't think this song is about him getting his car radio stolen. I think it's about him running out of distractions and having to actually deal with his problems and emotions. I think it's about him learning how to be alive. But that's just me.
