I can't stop listening to patty griffin's "rain". It's this perfect encapsulation of the horrible feelings that happen when you're breaking up/working it out. It's a very strange thing, the idea that these lyrics can somehow tap into our emotions better than we can. i'm so tuned in/tapped into music right now. it makes me feel very alive.
