So, this being the first entry I will begin with who I am. I am a seventeen year old high school student in Scottsdale, Az. I live a pretty normal life. I base my musical sense around the fact that I am a dancer and I hear every part of a song, lyric and music. Music is an extremely important part of my life. I incorporate it in everything I do and there is a song for every moment I have experienced in the last 3 years of my life. The most influential bands/musicians in my life have been: Radiohead U2 Matthew Good Band Coldplay The Smashing Pumpkins Incubus The Counting Crows Bruce Springsteen Bush Billy Joel Something Corporate Red Hot Chili Peppers Dave Matthews Band Jimmy Eat World Tori Amos Fiona Apple Sarah McLachlan The Rolling Stones and there are many many more. I suppose you could call me the typical high school student. I surround myself with the most amazing people. Until this year, my junior year, I hated school and everything about it. But for some reason, I found the most amazing guy, and I fell in love. Not just with him, but with his friends and how they live their lives. These guys are incredibly down to earth and generous, yet they don't take things too seriously and taught me to live life for me and to experience as much as I can now. Music helps me release myself into a world no one else feels. And they not only appreciate music, they too feel it. I, for the first time in my life, am completely content and happy with where things are. I'll close with a quote from a song I am listening to at the end of each entry....
