Music is my life. I sing in several auditioned choirs, play trumpet in jazz and concert band, and play aucoustic guitar (still saving up for my electric. my mom doesn't really support me in the guitar area). I used to play piano (my mom teaches it), but I got sick of it. I still remember a little bit, and it is good for accompaniment. Recently I discovered the group Evanescence. Normally I won't listen to anything that other people listen to (except for Linkin Park, but I discovered them before they had any hit songs and then got very annoyed when everyone started listening to them), but I stumbled upon the song Bring Me to Life on my brothers computer and found myself listening to it over and over and over again. I didn't know anyone else had heard of them until, obsessed, my best friend, Megan, heard me singing it and was amazed that I knew something she'd heard (usally I find the crazy music and share it with her, but I won't listen to anything she's heard before). Already obbsessed I couldn't make myself stop listening to them, and got a ton more Evanescence music to go along with my 790-something long song collection. The song October is beautiful and the song Hello brings me to TEARS. Evanescence is a great band!
