i only recently joined this thing. so far, i have read hundreds of people's opinions on song by hybrid to eminem to RHCP. this site is fucking awesome... well, this is a journal, and what do u do w/a journal but write in it.. so here goes. music is like my life, only its more than that. i cant go one day w/o music, its just something i need every day like food and water. im really affected by the music i listen to, it can cheer me up or put me in a terrible mood. music is my escape from the world when i cant put up with it any more. when there is anyone bothering me, i can put on headphones and just listen to music, whether it be trance, techno, rap, or rock. there are so many people who can make u feel something thru their music, happiness or anger. hybrid, for instance, hav the best music ever. u hear it and u cant stop, the lyrics are amazing... an example of the kind of thing i listen 2 wen im in a bad mood and i feel like im about 2 die...: *breathing shallow im slipping away hanging in the gallows im starting to pray how careful it was planned to do away with me so kill me if u can but words cant make me bleed...* u hear it and ur just amazed, the music, too, everything put 2gether just makes everything make sense, howver impossible that might be. shes being hanged and yet shes still strong. i admire that sooo much... *so what if i survive and live 2 tell the truth imagine the surprise to find me living and so very much alive ill find a new life and hide if i survive ill find my own place in time if i survive ill learn to forget the crime if i survive but i swear ur going down if i survive...* amazing, simply amazing. this is the kind of music u shud listen 2 wen u need 2 b cheered up. however much u might b convinved that music dusnt affect ur thoughts, it does. mayb not ur actions, but ur thoughts. u will prolly get angry much more easily if u listen 2 music that involves alot of screaming people. sure the music might sound good, and ill admit it, i really like disturbed's music, but this is the stuff u need 2 hear wen ur truly pissed at the world. take my advice and buy the CD, or get it burned frum sum1. ..but im off topic. NOT THAT I CARE CUZ THIS IS MY FUCKING JOURNAL but anyways. i read some other persons journal entry, something about music being their life. well whoever u r, i agree w/u so fucking much. so im just saying that music is the biggest part of my life... and its something amazing cuz music is everywhere u go. in the city, at parties, in tradition, in religion... in everything. music IS everything.
