hi, thought i would put some news in. Back by popular demand. Alright, I guess it is time to talk about us again. Well, I have good and bad news. I think I'll tell you the good first, because if I start with the bad, you might stop reading. So, here we go. All the music for the original 17 songs has been completed. Wes was actually just getting started on vocals. However, since we started recording, 3 new songs have been completed, and we feel that they need to be recorded. They may or may not make the cut, but if they come out good, it's just more songs for all of you. So now the bad news. Recording new songs is gonna push the record back again. I think that we're looking at mid to late August. I'm real sorry, but we really want to give you guys the best record possible. So, whether these songs make it or not, at least we'll be able to have lots of options. Good things come to those who wait. Later. Paul [posted 3/17/2003 U.S.A.] A Fire Inside I suck and I'm sorry. I haven't updated this damn thing in a long time and I'm not gonna do it now. I'd actually like to talk about someone else. I'd like to encourage all of you to go and buy the new AFI cd "Sing the Sorrow". It came out on Tuesday and I feel that it is truly amazing. I've been a fan of theirs for years now, and I feel that they really came into their own on this record and created something great. So, do yourself a favor and go get it. I think you'll like it, and if you don't, feel free to blame me. I can take it. Later. Paul [posted 3/13/2003 U.S.A.] We're back! What's up everyone? We are back from the holidays and working in the studio again. I hope everyone had a good holiday season. We did. So anyway, me and Wes started the guitars a few nights ago and like everything else it started a little slow while we got everything together. I finished up the second song last night and everything is going good. The album has been tentatively titled, "Life on Display", since that is basically what our music and lives are. I only wish that you guys could hear the new stuff right now. This is definitely the record that we've always wanted to make, and I can't wait to see how everyone reacts when they hear it for the first time. I mean, I'm usually the last person to brag about our band, but I really feel good about these songs. There has been a real growth in everyone's songwriting and individual contributions, so hopefully you will be as excited as we are when this record comes out. We are still shooting for late spring, but it looks like early summer may be a little more realistic. Who knows, we'll see I guess. Anyway, thanks for caring and thanks for the best x-mas gift ever: a triple platinum record. Later. Paul [posted 1/19/2003 U.S.A.] MUDD GIRL ~Billie
