You know, no matter how much you prepare yourself or how okay with something you think you are, when a dream dies or fades out (even if it could be for just a little while) it hurts. It just sucks to see something you wanted just float away. It's then that you realize that you misplaced your hope, and it's also then that you feel that little sense of depression hit you.
