I've been watching that channel so often now. Every day when I get home I flip it on. Since MTV and VH1 are owned by the same company, I flip between the MTV Hits and VH1 Mega Hits channels on digital cable. If there's a bad song on one, there's usually a good one on the other. If that's not the case, I'll go to MuchMusic USA.
Anyway, to the point. They've been showing "Drive" by Incubus a lot lately. Incubus is my favorite band of all time, and that's one of their best songs in my opinion. I've read that Brandon did all of those drawings. I knew he was an artist, but damn.. that's some awesome shit.
I recently saw the music video for "When I'm Gone" by 3 Doors Down. I think they did a great job in piecing the video together that was filed aboard the aircraft carrier that they performed live on. It was also really awesome that they did that, going out to a carrier to perform live for the serviceman/women.
It's especially cool to see that since I'm probably going to be joining the Army in a couple of months. I turn 17 in May, and I can enter through the Delayed Entry Program, where I can get most of Basic Training and other things out of the way. It allows me to start specific training once I'm 18, and not have to waste the months I'd normally spend in basic. It sounds really cool.
Anyway, I just got such a cool feeling when I first saw that video, I wanted to write about it. It's very cool. If you haven't seen it, you really should look for it. It's been played a lot on MTV and VH1 Hits, and also on MuchMusic USA. Three great channels, by the way. If you don't get them, you probably need satellite or digital cable. Awesome chans though.
Wow, I missed this place so much, and just realized it was back up from a friend on IRC. He didn't know I liked it here, but changed the topic of our channel saying it was back up, so I had to come check it out.
Awesome place to come for lyrics, no pop-ups like most of them, and it provides a very cool community for us to hang out and post comments and thoughts.
I need to become active in the forum sometime, still haven't checked it out yet.
