The censorship isn't a pedestrian.
by Silver Darkness on March 05, 2003I'm disappointed with Marilyn Manson's new tracklisting (www.marilynmanson.com/grotesque). The first three songs are "Intro", "This Is The New Shit" and "mOBSCENE". Quite possibly the worst song names he has ever considered. I also genuinely hope the cover is better.
I must compliment the beauty of his journal, though; as well as a few of the songs on his new album. "Para-noir", "The Bright Young Things", "Better of Two Evils", and "Obsequy (The Death Of Art)" come to mind. The last album from a favourite band (silverchair's "Diorama") was severely disappointing, catering more to the popular music industry and I hope Manson & Co do not suffer the same fate.

I picked up "X-Files: Fight the Future" from Video Ezy, brand new, for $10 yesterday. I was rather suspicious, but nonetheless, I bought it. We shall soon see if the disc is good. If it is, then I shall buy Fight Club's 2-Disc Special Edition (hopefully) for the same price.
"In the meantime, try to stay conscious. We are sitting in the EMERGENCY ROOM waiting for the doctor, a newly elected aesthetician, to come and pronounce his diagnosis. The grotesque, malignant cancer that is our expressions and our views is no longer the disease. We are being told that the sounds and images of art are now the symptoms of the creator. We as the artists, are now considered unhealthy and incurable."

For the last four days, my father has promised to take me to Frankston (the only place within two hours where you can buy anything other than paper). Four days running, he has broken this promise. I first asked him to take me TWO MONTHS AGO.
I have no enthusiasm to do anything today.
