So I just finished watching Darling In The Franxx, and I just started Solo Leveling, but I am always open to suggestions regarding new anime to watch. I really like my barber... as a person. Of course, me only visiting him, at the current rate, once per every other month, I barely know anything about him. This isn't a big deal, considering that I feel as though he forgets who I am and what I do for a living. In fact, the only reason why I stumbled upon, what I believe to be, his family's business is because it happens to be right next door to my trusted tailor, who recommended me to them. With my tailor having a lot of my trust in terms of taste and style, I obliged, and I've been going to that same barber for some years now. However, the main cutter I keep getting set up with always has a tendency to stray away from my actual desired style, resulting in an odd "drill instructor" style that I will try and stray away from now on. And on that same note, I notice that the line up he gives me is pretty wonky at times. Among other issues, this all seems to occur whenever I ask for a simple buzz cut on top, along with the usual fade I'm obligated to get for the military. Now, having allowed my hair to grow out for a few weeks, I've been thinking about how I wish to go about future haircuts, and I believe I've come up with a solution. Like I said, these issues with my barber only typically occur whenever I opt for a buzzcut, or anything in that realm of choices. These issues are minimized, if not dismissed altogether, whenever I only select a fade while maintaining whatever amount of hair I have on top. So, my primary solution is to only use that barber for simple fades needed for military regulations, and whenever I seek a buzzcut for special occasions, I will seek out a new barber. Given time, if I am successful in my endeavors in finding a good "buzz" barber, he/she may very well end up replacing my current barber altogether. I don't know; I usually don't put this much thought into small issues like this, but I guess that this entry will serve more as a personal note for me whenever the moment comes up for another haircut. I used to cut my own hair, for multiple reasons, but with the Marine Corps, I would not recommend.

What's happening, everyone? ThrashAddict here, back from the brink, I guess. I've been waiting for some time for the journal section to be brought back to songmeanings, but it just stayed down for quite a while. Not that I have much to write about necessarily. But I did wish to utilize this journal site for more personal "writings". Granted, I won't put a lot of stock into this journal due to the probability of the site removing it again. I would have guessed that it was down only because of a technical error that went unaddressed for months, or even years. Because of this, I won't be posting the most pressing or compelling entries here. In fact, that's the very reason why I started a Tumblr recently. As you would imagine, however, I don't write much there either. I am trying my best to experiment with some graphic designs for both documents and imagery, so stay tuned for that. And with the recent developments in A.I. modules for commercial use, I hope to be able to produce some interesting projects in the coming years. I appreciate any support I get, if any, and yes, for those of you that are aware of my service these last few years, I am indeed still enlisted in the military. We'll see how that may or may not affect my works in the making.

<p>What's happening, everyone? Thrashaddict here, back again on the grid, along with my newly-acquired title of U.S. Marine! I hope everyone is doing well. Very excited to be apart once more of the SongMeanings community. It's been literal months since I was last on regularly. I'll try and do my part in adding to the collections as usual, but just in case some of you were wondering, I'm currently stuck at an Army base in the middle of literal nowhere; a.k.a. Missouri! Whether it's long Summer days working in the hot sun or boring days spent in the barracks, I'll keep an ear out for any new music, all while awaiting training, which should commence around October. Until then, all I am is a lowly Private First Class, stuck as a consumerist until I finally go home (hopily around the holidays). I just wanted to let people know [whoever cares] that I have begun the process of becoming a United States Marine. My bootcamp date, as of now, is April 5th, 2021, as per my admission into the delayed entry program. Other than my family and some of the my friends, not a whole lot of people who know me are aware of my efforts, so I decided to "vent" it here on my songmeanings journal. I only walked into the Marine Corps recruiter's office a few weeks ago, on May 15th, and already, I am a "poolee" who is medically qualified with an ASVAB score of 94. About a month ago, I was not affiliated with the U.S. military at all, hence why the comparison to my current status has led me to title this entry "My Radical Change". It only took me a month to completely change the course of my life, and even though nothing really "significant" has actually occurred, I am excited (as well as scared shitless) about the coming months leading up to boot camp. 

I usually am not this forward with these types of matters, but because I've been on songmeanings for a few years, I thought it might be the perfect place to share some of my more personal thoughts so as to give my account a bit more character to it, rather than just a collection of lyrics and artists I post up every now and then when I hear one of interest. In other words, I want you all to know that there is a person behind this account, and in the future, most likely around the summer/spring seasons, I will be gone for some time. There will probably be no submissions for a while, and the U.S.M.C. is most likely going to be the reason why. 

Also, considering that some people in the past have died during Marine Corps boot camp, I wish to inform people as to the possibility of one day having no more submissions produced by this account. If by this time next year, there are no more submissions, this journal entry here should provide the context needed for people to not wonder "What happened to ThrashAddict?" 

Thank you for your understanding and I hope to submit as much as possible before being shipped off to the unknown. 

I'm just testing out this journal capability and seeing if there is anything great about it. It seems interesting, but I just don't have any use for it other than maybe posting updates about my account. Of course, that's assuming anybody has any interest in my account. 

I took a look at other people's journal entries at random, and the majority of the ones I've seen are typically entries of poetry. I saw one disturbing political entry, but I don't want to go down that road ;). 

Well... I guess I'll wait and see how this goes.
