I used to hate rap music but over the last year I've began to understand and appreciate how fucking awesome rap music is! it's weird cause up until the last year I only listened to alternitive rock, indie rock and classic rock, the bottom line is I was always about rock music. I listened to bands like Radiohead, modest mouse, chili peppers and many others along that style, I still do of course but my recent discouvery of artists like earl sweatshirt, kendrick lamar,t yler the creator, dumfoundead, and others have been all the music I'm listening to lately, and I think a main reason I began loving rap so much is cause I started smoking weed. Listening to rap music while high is one of the most magical experiences you can have, I've listened to lots of different types of music while high but rap is by far the best genre while high. It's unexplainable how amazing it is, and because of how fucking exhilerating it is I then began listening to it all the time, and I feel like I truly understand the beuty of rap music thanks to pot! I still believe there is a ton of shitty rap music out there but if you find the right artists rap music is truly an artistic/creative style of music, there's no other genre of music witht the type of honesty and expression that rap music has, I love it!
