He's running through my thoughts all day

I can't get him off my mind

Not to mean that I try,

I like thinking of him; he's mine.

And that's such a weird thought

because no one has ever been just mine

no one has ever wanted to stay

no one has ever wanted just me.

But he is unlike any other

and I absolutely adore him

in fact

I love him.

And he says he loves me

that I'm the best person he knows

he holds me oh so close

and I pray he never lets me go.
