    Hey man
    Where can I go
It's too late to find holes in the ocean
    I know

    I said man
    Stay here awhile
I will never find safety in numbers
    Here on the mile

    Say man
    Is this in the right
I wanna heal the cracks in the sidewalk
    And keep it alive
    Set down on the ground
And I laid my head down
    To see
    I closed up my eyes
    As the numbers went by
And that's when I started this dream

    Said son you're still young
But your mind has grown old it seems
    Now go tell your sister
To show me her new magazines

    Said man
    Sit for awhile
    Said son
    He said son
    How you've only begun
    On the mile
    On the mile
    On the mile

I've been to the moon and the stars
    And the go inbetweens
    Now go tell your sister
To stop playing with new machines

Said I've been to the moon and the stars
    And the go inbetweens
    Now go tell your sister
    Stop play with new machines

Tell them to keep things quiet
Tell them to keep things quiet

    Say man
    Stay here awhile
    I said son
    He said son
    How you've only begun
    On the mile
    On the mile
    On the mile

    Son you're still young
But your mind has grown old it seems
    Now go tell your sister
To show me her new magazines

Said I've been to the moon and the stars
    And the go inbetweens
    Now go tell your sister
    Stop playing with new machines
    Tell your sister
    Stop playing with new machines

Tell them to keep things quiet

My Interpretation:IN MY opinion any person that feels awakened and connected to all things intuitively and soulfully by some invisible tether that most cannot BECOME intertwined WITH OR VISUALIZE due to our societal STATUS driven hierarchy this scenario or script is most likely to have occurred. This is a great interpretation and delivery of suppression that continuously and repetitively speckles throughout history. But instead of having the happy fluffy ending we demand in rose colored glasses as a hole to fictionalize and separate oneself from dealing with and really ponder or think about where the importance may lie .... this is just a intellectually thoughtful point of view or perspective, driven possibly by commonality and distinction all in one. Thank you ! The simplistic non melodramatic view is so powerful and loud to me in so many ways... Not discrediting anyone else that may have a difference of opinion because your perspective is just as relevant and weight bearing,

I think this is a young individual starting an awakening. I think this individual is confiding into someone he thinks is of like mind. This person is obviously not so. The young individual is contemplating how he can take action with this new vision coming into view and is using " Hey man Where can I go Its to late to find holes in the ocean" as a metaphor.. Like saying I know I cant event the wheel... but.. I can do something ?? I think the young individual is amazed at the desire to want to be all giving and loving to all people and things alike without distinction of any one particularity. " Set down on the ground And I laid my head down to see I closed my eyes" with this statement I think it is clarifying the Young individual of possessing the awareness and ability to tap into his "" Third Eye "" he is connected to the unseen forces and is gaining knowledge through this awareness. " Said son you're still young But your mind has grown old it seems Now go tell your sister To show me her new magazines" is this Mentor role playing elder person telling this young individual that he is over analyzing and intellectualizing this into something its not and disregarding his confide awaking. He is insuring his point of view is not disregarded or questioned by these lyrics "I've been to the moon and the stars and go inbetweens" and also reiterating his power over this young individual by reminding him of his duty to do as told with his siblings and using his obvious superior father / mentor role to continue to smash the young individuals idealism and forward thinking by bringing negativity to " New Machines" , " New Magazines" i.e. how horrible this new technology and sin filled literacy spreading propaganda against His Righteous View. The elder seals the deal with not only are you crazy and so wrong with these thoughts.. You will be chastised by others as well if you speak of this with the lyrics " Tell him to keep quit
