I'm always really super into Indie, but lately I grew into Art-Rock. I don't know what didn't catch my attention before. I've liked Indie for many years and things like Electronica-in some ways similar to Art- for almost as long. I've had Wolf Parade on my mp3 player for about a year now. I first started listening because I heard that they were discovered by Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock awhile back.. But haven't put too much time to listen, until Kissing The Beehive caught my attention. From there, Fine Young Cannibals, then Disco Sheets and then everything else fell on me. Then I needed more. I was reading about Spencer Krug and went out and bought Dragonslayer LP by Sunset Rubdown and Organ Music.. by Moonface. I gotta say, Dragonslayer LP is one of my favorite albums right now. Moonface doesn't have quite the same affect, but I enjoy it. This week I also picked up Random Spirit Lover by Sunset Rubdown and completed my collection of Wolf Parade.
