Missing Out On Stuff
by liv490 on October 12, 2011It sucks when you realise that there was something you really should have done, but you only realise too late that you wanted to. For example, I'm a bit of a Fall Out Boy nut. I say 'a bit', because I mean I jumped on the bandwagon a little late. I got Infinity on High when it came out, and thought it was good. It was only lst year that I realised it was amazing, and bought FUCT and FAD. I would've loved to be part of the hype when it was there, with all the viral campaigns and organised silly fun, and the Secret Order Kids and Overcast Kids.
The most I can do now is google those things and wish I'd been there.
Panic! at the Disco was the same. I only realised after they'd split that they'd been amazing. Not that they still aren't, it's just different.
And now I'll never see them the way everyone else did.
So now I jump on bandwagons early. I joined the Black Cards Street Team and the Partick Stump Street Team, and made Twitter accounts as part of the BCST even though technically I'm opposed to social networking. Some things are just too special to miss out on.
Keep your eyes open. If you find something amazing, never disregard it. It won't alwas be there.
