There is a place in my...heart? Soul? I don't really know I just have this thing for really sad songs. By the way I like most of Elton and Bernie's stuff but I despise 'Sad Songs'..say so much. Don't like the way it sounds so I didn't even bother to listen to the words. That collaboration has come up with some of the great songs ever. What got me searching this evening for lyrics was a story I heard about Sarah Mclachlan and her song 'Angel'. I must consider the source in this case but it was just so tragic if it happened to be true: She wrote it, among other reasons I suppose, or maybe not, for a lover(I don't think husband or soon to be husband) who was in her band and he died of a heroin O.D. BS? Well I stumbled on this site and maybe it can answer the question. This song also has special meaning for my wife and me because it was popular when my wife was pregnent with our only child, a daughter. and it was a tough pregnanacy and birth and this song just really hit home, esp. for my wife. So, anyway, we'll see what I can find.... One other thing to mention for me.....I see these list of the all time saddest songs ever and sometomes I just don't get it. The tune must have to catch me and then I listen for lyrics because, and of course I cannont think of one of those listed songs right now, of the songs on some of those "all-time" lists........This is gibberish now. Maybe if just one person who just might read this knows what I mean.....
