Do you read manga? You should start, if you don't. I really like manga, and it is really good. So here's some that I like. Shounen-like Indiana Jones. Good but not thought provoking Naruto, death note, one piece, Dr. Slump, black cat, just look at the shounen jump website Shoujo-aimed at girl. I find most of it boring. However, shounen ai s are usually also shoujo Ouran high school host club, descendants of darkness, loveless, blank slate, fruits basket, not too much else except...Godchild!!! It's amazing. Sort of gothic, almost supernatural thriller, but a bit more emotion...even if you don't like the storyline or the repetitive short stories(which I happen to love), the art is wonderful. Also the Cain Saga, which is the prequel series. Josei-aimed at young women. I try to avoid it. Again, just look it up on some manga publisher's website. I think luv luv press(Aurora) is Josei. Sienen-aimed at young men. surprisingly good, if you read the right ones Monster, ghost in the shell(?), gantz, vagabond, Mushishi, Panorama of Hell(if you can find it),I'm sure I've forgotten lots Yaoi,yuri,hentai-boy on boy, girl on girl, messed up porn. Hentai is more anime than manga. In America shounen ai and shoujo ai are non-explicit boy/boy and girl/girl stuff. I like shounen ai. The only true yaoi that I think is good is Seduce me after the show. It only has one sex scene, I think. Managed to avoid yuri altogether. I don't like hentai, and I've never read it. Can't say as much for watching it. Horror-I like it. Not for everyone. Uzumaki, Gyo, The left hand of God the right hand of the Devil, the Drifting Classroom, Portus, Presents is not scary at all...but something about it gave me chills...reading club...again not so creepy even,and now,something truly disturbing! Please, don't read this unless you are willing to be scarred for life or you're so messed up it won't matter. Mr. Arashi's Amazing Freak Show. It is completely surreal, and it isn't for most people. It could be called a masterpiece, but most people are too disgusted by it, from the comments I read. I only shudder to think what must be going on in the mind of the guy who wrote/drew it. So, just go to the viz media website or somewhere. Manga is not like American comics. If you're a little bit interested, start reading it! Sorry... i really like manga. And also, read (the novel) The Book Thief.
