  • Hidden deep in the furor.

by NeverXMind on December 30, 2010
"What We Do Is Secret" by The Germs Standing in the line we're abberations Defects in a defect's mirror And we've been here all the time, real fixations Hidden deep in the furor What we do is secret-secret! We're influential guys for the D.C.C. We can lie so perfect And we've got a party line to every call It's a very short circuit What we do is secret-secret! Licensed to drill with the torch in our lives Walking on shallow water Progressed to the point of no distinction Dementia of a higher order What we do is secret-secret! I honestly have no idea what this song is about, but I love it. Even though it's fast and (at times) annoying, I can at least admire the lyrics. My favorite part is when he says, "Standing in the line we're abberations / Defects in a defect's mirror". I just think that's brilliant.

To all you Christian freaks, Agnostics, and Atheists who just want presents (like me), Merry Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful day, filled with awesome gifts and... you know, stuff like that.

  • If Obama has done one good thing.

by NeverXMind on December 24, 2010
If Obama has done one good thing, it is repealing the ban on gay men and women in the military. Finally, at least one important step in politics has been taken.

  • Life sucks.

by NeverXMind on December 21, 2010
So, I just found out what new classes I'm getting next semester. I'm very disappointed. Instead of getting Drama II, I got computer class. And instead of getting Art, I got PE. Again. Except this time, it's with Mr. Kennedy (AKA, the 5-foot pedophile-looking and sumbrero-wearing sexist). ARGH. I literally feel like my life is going to end if I do not get a schedule change.

  • No, I will certainly not "crank dat".

by NeverXMind on December 20, 2010
There are many artists out there. Good ones, bad ones. But I am dedicating this journal entry to the artists that I just CAN NOT take seriously, no matter how hard I try. 1) Justin Bieber - God, I cannot stand him! He had one hit song, and now the whole frickin' world is obsessing over him. I just don't get how he's any different than any of the other pop stars today. I say we should put an end to "Bieber Fever" before it gets even worse. 2) Ke$ha - I'm sorry, but anyone who has a stage name that involves symbols instead of letters is a joke. Period. 3) Lil' Wayne - I can't even believe this guy is proclaimed the "Greatest Rapper Alive". I mean, is he really? To me, Lil' Wayne shouldn't even bother with the music industry. If you disagree with me, listen to the song "Lollipop". That'll show you what a pathetic, shallow loser he is. 3) Blood On The Dance Floor - Listening to them makes me want to throw up. Literally. All they talk about is SEX. I get that some perverts out there enjoy that, but honestly, it's disgusting. Put the mic down and go get a job, kids. 4) Jeffree Star - See #4. 5) Chris Brown - This stupid woman-beater should be locked up in a cell... and kept there. 6) Soulja Boy - "I'm bouncin' on my toe / Watch me supersoak dat oh / I'ma pass it to Arab / And he gon' crank it up fo' sho' " Nice. You just made me laugh for five minutes straight. Well, that's it for now. If I think of any other stupid artists that I despise, I will certainly jot them down.

  • CH-CH-CH-CHIA!

by NeverXMind on December 17, 2010
So, there's this kid in my class named Manny. He has this afro that seems to be a different size every day. I know it sounds absoloutley ridiculous, but I have this theory that he might be a Chia Pet. Yes, a Chia Pet. One of those things you pour water on and herbs randomly grow on top of it. I think he puts little seeds on his head, gets in the shower, and then... WALLA! A perfectly round afro is placed upon him. Yeah, I'm stupid. What you gonna do about it?

  • "Let the poets cry themselves to sleep, and all their tearful words turn back to steam."

by NeverXMind on December 14, 2010
Have you ever had one of those days where you just felt like crap for no reason whatsoever? Like you're suddenly hit by a wave of dullness, or you've stepped into a pile of accidental guilt? Well, I've just witnessed one of those days. It was not very pleasing. I still am, to this very moment, feeling horrible inside. And I have no idea why. Blegh. On somewhat better terms, I am almost 100% sure now that Chris is a confused and/or closeted homosexual. I was around 99.9% sure before, but now I'm just 100%. Me and Taylar have been following (not stalking) him around and taken a few notes on the way he acts and portrays himself. We have also noticed the little gestures he does, and observed how he acts around both girls and boys. I'm not saying that this is good, I'm just saying that at least NOW I know. I really wish people would not hide their sexualities. There really is no reason to. Sure, there are a lot of ignorant idiots out there. But there are also alot of accepting people. Not everyone is horrible. "Let the poets cry themselves to sleep, and all their tearful words turn back to steam" (One of my new favorite song quotes) Chao!

  • My favorite.

Lately I've been attempting to get into Belle & Sebastian. If you don't know who they are, they're this really cool Scottish indie-pop group who seems to nail the subject of any topic they sing about. I discovered them while listening to the Juno Soundtrack, which, in case you didn't know, is one of the most strange yet amazing soundtracks of 2007. Anyways, here are (by my ranking) the best songs: 1) "Piazza, New York Catcher" Ahh, you can never go wrong with this song. The vocals are fantastic, and the rhythm and lyrics are super catchy. It's also based on a true story. I vote this as the greatest song of the 2000's. 2) "Seeing Other People" If you listen to this, it will get stuck in your head for hours. For some reason, the piano intro kind of reminds me of Charlie Brown. 3) "Expectations" 4) "Like Dylan In The Movies" 5) "Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying" If you want something to sing along to, sing to this. Well, there you go. Enjoy?

  • The stars of track and field.

by NeverXMind on December 10, 2010
Well, today was pretty good. It wasn't as cold out, and I didn't have that much work to do. In PE we finally stopped playing European handball, which is pretty awesome, considering our team flat-out sucked. We lost 12 games... out of 12 games. The only thing I'm concerned about is this boy me and my friend Taylar hang around. Chris. We were observing him today, and we noticed some things. Some things that should of been noticed before. You see, Chris is always trying to prove his self-proclaimed "manliness" to the world by bragging about himself and accusing other people of being "fags". Me and Taylar finally came to the conclusion that he is, in fact, uncomfortable with his sexuality. I mean, why else would he be like this? I've seen it all before. I still can't get over the fact that I didn't see this coming. Well, whatever. I'm going to continue commenting on songs and dreaming about a better tomorrow. Chao.

  • Tomorrow.

by NeverXMind on December 08, 2010
Tomorrow is my sister's twelfth birthday, so we're skipping school to go to Universal Studios. We're gonna spend all day there, drinking Butterbeer at Hogwarts, eating overly-expensive turkey legs at Jurassic Park, and riding all those stupid roller coasters that everyone seems to love. The only problem is, it's going to be cold tomorrow. And I honestly don't think I want to encounter all those terrifyingly fast rides when, 1) It is already windy, and 2) I am already freezing. So, what am I going to do? Huh. Desicions, desicions.
