This is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs that I have ever heard. I believe that the lyrics speak to anyone. It touches a chord in me everytime that I hear it. To love someone so much and to know that no matter what you do, it'll never work is like living a private hell of sorts. Lauryn's tone of voice and the instrumental symmetry balance each other out so beautifully without competing. it's simply masterful beauty!!!!!
