This band from NC (i think) is sadly missing from songMeanings. They had two excellent southern bluesrock albums with an incredible guitarist who later went on to sit in the the Black Crowes. Their songs run the typical blues gamut with some references to things such as the oppression and relocation of Native Americans (Peace Pipe-only hit I ever heard on the radio) to songs of leaving home and general rock tunes with hooks that really showed off the lead guitarists skill set. I know its been awhile since they disbanded, yet I think that those who still value musicianship in their music would be sadly neglected if they didn't have a chance to listen to Cry of Love.
