This song perfectly sums up that giddy feeling when I see That Guy I have a crush on. It's been so long since I had a crush...it feels like my first. It's that constant obsessing over whether he'll ever notice me given all his fangirls. It's that lying awake at night conjuring up scenes in my head in which we dance the night away at Homecoming, hold hands while strolling down the beach, sit together laughing and showing the whole world that we are together. It's that random little smile that strikes me when I think of him, or of these scenes. He's got that one thing, that's for sure.

What a powerful lyric. It really hits me in a somewhat unexplainable way...for one, it's perfect for my boyfriend. I was putting way more effort into our relationship than he was, and this is pretty much what I was thinking. I was like, don't you want this? Or are you just going to sit there and watch it fall apart?

I'm obsessed with this song. I'm in the school's bagpipe band, and we play this song often. Short story even shorter, I fell in love with the song. It's so enchanting when played on the pipes, and at the same time it's heartbreakingly beautiful. The lyrics are so sad, but the song itself is haunting.

I love, love, love this lyric. It reminds me of my boyfriend, who I am still reluctant to call my "ex", because I'm still waiting, hoping that he'll come around. It really speaks to me, mostly because it sums up so perfectly what I can't put into words myself. My friend introduced me to this song, the Punk Goes Acoustic version, the other day and I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it.
