Well, I'm just bored, so I'm gonna write some stuff... The problem is I don't know what to write about... Finished with everything I really really needed to take care of. All I have to worry about now are the semester exams, which I'll probably have to take only one of them anyway. I have State on Saturday. Hopefully, my team and I will do well! Maybe we'll even come home with some more medals. We've come in first at every meet we've entered, including Regionals. We are undefeated!!! *Knock on wood... But who knows for sure what the outcome would be. 6 hour drive to Austin on Friday starting at 8:00 in the morning. I'll probably read my book on the way up there. By the way, Erewhon by Samuel Butler is the worst book I have ever read. Actually, I should say "have attempted to read", for I have yet to get through it. Who would've thought a 200 page book would be my downfall... Anyway, so the trip up to Austin. We should get there around 5:00 in the afternoon, after which we will commence to wander about town and find a place to eat dinner, then check into the hotel and practice for more time until we shove off to bed. We'll have to get up at 6:00 a.m., eat breakfast, and be ready by probably 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. so we can leave and get checked into the meet. My team and I compete at 11:30 in the morning, I think... And our classmate competes in his category at 9:00 a.m., I do believe. Our verification isn't until 4:00 in the afternoon, so we will get results that night and leave at sometime on Sunday morning. Kewl!!!! I'm so excited!

This year, I didn't get to go to prom for some reason unknown to me.... It was all my mom's doing. Unfortunately, she thinks that prom is for only seniors when it is called the "Junior-Senior" prom. She is totally oblivious to the clarity of the title, apparently. I thought it was pretty self-explanitory. I'm just trying to figure out why she wouldn't let me go!!! I get straight As all the time all my classes, even in my college courses. I'm in the National Honor Society. I don't do drugs and I hate alcohol and I never ever go out except for school functions and sometimes, if she's feeling a bit generous, a close friend's party with adult supervision. Even if there was anything illegal present at the party, does she really believe that I would get caught up in it? And those of you who would wave it away as her wish to protect me from the dangers of the outside world in an effort to retain my childish innocence, it goes deeper than that. What she wants is to completely control me. I never get to leave the house without getting the third degree and even then, most of the time I still don't get to go. Prom was just one of the many instances where this has taken place. It just happened to be one of the most important and memorable to me. We may not even have one next year because of the previous class.... Aw.

Seriously, how do you write a whole 500 word essay on why you named your restaurant “La Chupacabra” if you just came up with it off the top of your head? What is the world coming to…..

I cannot believe this. I can't find a school calculator worth a hundred dollars, at least, nor can I find a textbook worth seventy five dollars!!! Someone took the textbook though. I had it in the morning, set it on the table, and by the time it was time for class, it was gone!!!!!! I'm so tired of this. I don't have the money to pay for all this stuff!!!!!!

Well, I'm happy that I can finally read all of these lyrics and find out what other people think they mean... It's also fun to put my own ideas on the interpretation of the songs. Sorry if they aren't that good... I just seem to think more strangely than others. Thanks!
