• Waking up in the wake of a post 9/11 crash

I over slept this morning, Yesterday was pretty rough for everyone. I still believe in the common generosity of company. My friend Schuyler and I ate at the Hi-lo Cafe with a black gentleman Cassius. He had nowhere to sit so we invited him over to our table and talked about health and hydration. I had come to find out this man worked with my father in the weed lumber mill back in the early 90's and he recalled my dad having dark hair and being very tall. Cassius was a shorter ripped-cut man so of course it would seem that my father was a giant at 5'11. I ran into officer Corporal Halligan on his shift in the diner. I spoke with him briefly before he received an emergency response call, and had to jet off like a red rocket flaring through the air. Of all the officers I have ever met, halligan is the only officer I truly respect. It's been a few day's since I've wrote in my journal. on 9/10 I met the girl of my dreams, I was up in the dorms visiting a few friends, when I ran into her. I could'nt believe my eyes, she was a beautiful angel sent down by God. I ended up drinking alot more than I expected I have been quitting so it was a rarity that I was even partying on this occasion. Im learning a lot about myself and life, Im only twenty four. I felt my world was ending and now I feel like there is sooo much more. I am learning that I am stronger in ways I never knew before. I used to doubt myself because I never had to try, and now that I am forced to survive I am surpassing my expectations. I know that whatever I put myself through I can make it to the end, that is the nature of human character. I am suppose to call my recruiter today, Wednesday he will be here with my 19D Recon scout specialist contract. I can't imagine myself being anything else anymore than the thing that I have wanted to become since I was four. I have always wanted to become A soldier, but my mother always strongly warned against it. Now that she is gone I am free to do what I want.. It was my fault that I make all the mistakes, but now that the stakes are high, Im rollin dice in an angel city gamble. I just want A house and a good life with my future wife.

Today was a Good day, I downloaded all the As I lay Dying I could, drank a few beers and smoked with Bob, my friend from Physical fitness training Jon, and my other friend Andrew throughout random intervals of the day, I just gotta say that p90x Insanity is INSANE. I started the new training regiment today, It was great Corinna my bro John Thomas's girlfriend brought it over and Andrew her and myself all worked out on the PT test. Tomorrow is my 24th birthday and I am quitting drinking and everything to join the Marines w/Michael klepach who is going to be my Scout/Spotter, after the end of this semester when school is over. Just gonna kick back for the rest of the night get some sleep and wake up with a big grin on my face like I do every morning from the night before. I guess I wiped spaghetti all over David Lambdon's and Daniella Candaleria's wall just to be a schmuck, I never said my sense of humor was pretty. It's the things I do sometimes just crack me up. Haha Dave if your reading this I ment no disrespect to you, it's your girlfriend who I despise Luckily enough I can deal with her because I like you too much of a friend man to just f@#! it., but thats not to say sometimes I feel like saying it. The Party @ Daves in Mt. Shasta was alot of fun except for I dont remember any of it and thats why I should also quit drinking, because Mr. Hyde comes out to say Hi. Anyways next time I'll just wipe it on my jeans instead of your wall man, I think it was just cause you didn't have any napkins. Scouts Out!
