so i just had my senior prom this past weekend and i came across a song called "Soco Amaretto Lime" and it just captured the whole "I dont wanna grow up" thing, which is something ive been thinking a lot about with graduation coming up. The line "I wanna stay 18 forever" couldnt have came to me at a better time. that was exactly what i was feeling that weekend. Im scared of moving on with my life. And to top things all off, ive finally found an awesome girl who is just so much more mature, down to earth, and well special than any other girl ive met before. but unfortunately she's going to college in ohio and her parents are moving to maryland. so we both have feelings for each other but she told me last night that she doesnt want to start anything serious because we both know we'll end up getting hurt in a couple months. But maybe it will work out and in a year, i'll look back at this and see how wrong we were.

so im feelin down about this whole prom situation thats going on and im listening to music and getting the whole depressing vibe from each song. so then i decide to call m date and after a half hour conversation, she kind of cheered me up and straightened things up. now im laying in my bed listening to the same songs but now they're coming off with a more positive vibe. so i had an epiphany that songs dont influence your mood, your mood influences the songs mood
