Ok, I haven't been that deep in the music scene lately. I've had to deal with a lot in the past year or so-- School, shit with my family, and other things. Money's been kinda low, so can't buy too many albums, and I don't have MTV or anything. But is it me, or are songs and artists just getting more and more rediculous as the years go on? I bring this up because I was flipping through the radio stations on my alarm clock in a rare moment of desire for music, and I came across this song: "Love me, hate me, say what you want about me, all the boys and all the girls are begging to if you seek Amy." I was shocked as hell. WTF?? Seriously? THAT was on the freakin radio? Without censors? Well, the DJ said it was Brittney Spears who sang the song, so I looked up the lyrics. Fuck. I've been lookin around on the internet, and it seems like some people actually LIKE this piece of shit. Haha, Brittney, we get it. We're all "Begging to FUCK Amy." Great. You made us laugh again with yet another atrocious song. Does anybody remember "Toxic"? Now stop doing this before someone else gets hurt and go have another kid with that fat backup dancer before HE makes another bad album. And teach the bastard how to pronounce that word for people who need wide-angle lenses to get him properly. For now, I'll stick with some of the same old standbys that I loved before I came to school: Lordi, Death Cab for Cutie, Cake, and a little bit of Ludo, Flobots, and Eminem for flavor. (Have you listened to Relapse yet??) You can keep on listening to the same old shit if you want. Just don't ask me to take out the garbage.
