• It Turns What I Feel Into Reality...

I've recently developed a love for the band Five Finger Death Punch. I have liked them for a while now, but after getting one of they're cds (War Is The Answer,) I've come up with... Well I dont really know how to explain it, I guess kind of like a crush on the band. I mean, not actually the band members themselves, but their music. Ivan's voice, the guitars, drums, bass. You name it! Another thing that hits home about this band is the lyrics. Now I don't know how they come up with this stuff, but it's amazing. And usually the lyrics turn what I feel into reality. (Songs that I think are pretty meaningful: A Place to Die, Never Enough, Stranger than Fiction, Meet the Monster, Hard to See, etc.) One song that really means something to me is Never Enough. Even though it's one of those "radio songs" or the "if you know of a band, it's usually because of one of these songs" songs. But I really love it. Especially because of the meaning of the lyrics. Here are some examples: "It's never enough, I'll never be what you want me to be!" "In the end, we're all just chalklines on the concrete. Drawn only to be washed away. With the time that I've been given, I am what I am." "It's always say this, say that nothing that you want to. I don't want to live that way! Every chance they get they're always pushing me away!" ..And so much more. I can relate to this song because I always feel like I have to meet the expectations of other people. (My parents, siblings, teachers, companions.) Not so much my friends, because that's the point of friends, they get you, and like you how you are. All in all, I love this band, the lyrics, songs, everything. Sorry for all my rambling, Vengeanceforever
