have you ever felt like you needed to start over . rewind . erase . take one deep breath and find everything in place . perhaps its the absence of something truly meaningful . well every sunset is followed by a sunrise if you can make it through the night . i was never all that patient but im willing to try . the best things in life are worth waiting for . but sometimes you think you've waited enough . so you go for it . you begin something new . beautiful . fun . happy . only to realize a few weeks later you were setting yourself up . for a breakdown . and then you're at the end again . at the start . kinda sucks . but its kinda great . i guess thats the life i have . one big rollercoaster ride . no one's ever willing to ride the whole thing with me . but one day . ill meet you . and it will be a new day. for my old life . a new day . for your old life . and then we will have built an old life . out of our new life . but for now . we're both living seperate lifes . searching . dont give up . im here . waiting . or maybe i should be searching too . perhaps we will just stumble upon eachother . one hot summer day . since those are my favorite . and we'll exchange a look . a smile . love . but for now im trying to set things in place . starting over . putting things in place . because i have fallen . and you werent there to pick me up . its okay . because each time im getting closer . closer to that new day . for my old life .
