well, i haven't written in a while, so i dunno if i lost the bet or not. been busy. i've never had so many projects in my life. well, whatever. i prolly shouldn't even be writing, cuz i am completely out of it right now. insomnia, you know. ugh. pirates are cool. especially when they're johnny depp. it's a bit sad, but most of my hollywood crushes are twenty years older than me, or more. let's see....hugh jackman, christian bale, brad pitt, george clooney, etc. but there are some younger ones, like jackson rathbone and the guy that played doon harrow in the city of ember. oh, and the long-haired guy in sweeney todd. well, i'm sure none of this is making sense so i'm gonna go now. byebye!

i feel kinda sad that no one's replied yet, but since this is only like my fifth entry, my logical side is like, "what the hell? no one even knows you!" so, yeah. i'm just being really vain, i guess. but now i have nothing further to say, except byebye!

okay, so we had this great big long chat in civics&economics today about controversial issues, and i can't get it out of my head, so i'm gonna talk about it and hope it goes away. soooo, here goes: i am against abortion, except for extreme cases (like you're a 13-year-old rape victim), and i'm also against the death penalty cuz i don't think humans have the right to take each others' lives. but i can also understand where the victims of things like murder and rape would want that to happen, cuz half the time these people that get life sentences get out after like thirty years for good behavior. and if you ask me, that's completely wrong, cuz the people they kill don't just go away for 30 years. they never come back. my idea for a happy medium is that the ones convicted of things like rape and first-degree murder go to jail for life, no chance of early release or parole or anything, and they have to be in solitary confinement the first five years. that, to me, is a way better punishment than death. also, i think all rapists should be castrated, so they never do it again. i'm sorry, that's just sick, and problems like being abused as a kid are no excuse, because plenty of abuse and molestation victims don't turn into rapists. you know, i'm kinda getting used to this. i guess a journal's different online, cuz others can read it and reply. so i might actually keep this up.

i am soooo gonna win this bet! and i am now sixteen so chik-fil-a will be hearing from me very soon. ok, so i guess the whole point of journals is to write things down, so i'm gonna go with the crazy conspiracy theories my friends think up. one of my friends thinks religion is a conspiracy started by the government eons ago, so that when things got bad we wouldn't blame the people in charge and would just pray instead and they'd get away with all the crazy crap she supposedly thinks they're pulling. but then i have another friend who thinks atheism is a conspiracy to turn us all into cynical people addicted to depression medication. and then another friend thinks they never really took the cocaine out of coke and we are all secretly addicted to cocaine and that's why people buy so much of their soda. and then there's the one that global warming doesn't exist at all, and that the government accidently released something into our atmosphere that eats away at the ozone layer, and that AIDS was developed in a lab to kill off all the homosexuals, and of course everyone knows the lotion and chapstick theories. honestly, my theory is that we're all a bunch of people with waaay too much time on our hands.

ok, so my friend josh bet that i couldn't keep up a journal for three months. he's so on. i desperately need money. that's a pretty constant thing with me, cuz i'm not 16 yet and can't get a job. but soon! very soon! then i won't need to make stupid bets like this to make a few bucks. :P

journals are so odd. for me, i mean. i just get this weird feeling every time i write one. i'm not even sure why i'm writing this. it's boredom, i guess. but seriously, why write this down? i'm not gonna care in a few years, or probably next week. i dunno. but i had to give this a try.
