Music helps authors write. =) It's actually very true. Kind of like how chewing gum helps concentration. I write with music all the time, although you might want to match up the scene with a song. For example, if it's a really joyful, care-free scene with little girls bouncing around, you would be listening to 'Disasterpiece' by Slipknot(Although that is a kickass song) because you're likely to end up with the little girls dismembered with blood everywhere. Or you could do that, whatever works. I mean, I do that sometimes. Song fiction is pretty fun to write, also. :D
