Hello anyone who's bored enough to read this. I figured a slight introduction would help. The story begins with me finding this website a year or so ago. I was tired of those terrible lyric sites out there that are nothing but spam and advertising. One day, I was looking for the meaning of a certain song (don't remember which) but I found this site, and have been using it ever since. I love looking up songs that I like and seeing what other people have to say about it. Well, as far as musical interests go, I have a very eclectic mix. I love rock, of course, preferring the softer side but I appreciate the hard stuff. Can't stand too much metal though. I love most classic rock (60s and 70s with some 80s) I detest most hip hop and rap, and think it's a sin what they call R&B these days. Modern day country is terrible, but I can usually stomach the older stuff. If someone offers a song to listen to, I always will. A few favorites include The Reign of Kindo, Jon Foreman, Switchfoot, John Mayer, Porcupine Tree, Todd Agnew, Keith Green, and Jars of Clay. I'm a drummer myself, with a few years playing guitar. I'm in a fledgling band named "Affirmative Jackson." We're a quartet based in Keene NH, and play what we think is pretty original stuff.
