I myself am a Fall Out Boy fan, and I do confess.. I did just start liking Fall Out Boy recently when I heard one of their songs on the radio that caught my attention.. so I bought their CD "Infinity On High" and really liked it, went back and bought "Take This To Your Grave" and "From Under The Cork Tree" I also just bought their newest CD "Folie A Deux" what I want to complain about is the times I see something like this.. "All you fall Out boy fans who just started liking fall out boy cause their new songs are all mainstream now, fall out boy doesnt like you,and you dont deserve to listen to their 'good' music.. so stop pretending like you know them cause you don't!!" OK there are MANY MANY MANY things wrong with that.. FIRST.. Why complain about a band being mainstream? I don't understand that.. "OMG their music appeals to many people, SHUN THEM DONT LISTEN TO THEM OMG THEY ARE MAINSTREAM!!" (sarcasm).. seriously if a band is mainstream why complain about that? they are mainstream because their music appeals to a lot of people, and that shouldn't be seen as a bad thing.. like come on people! And obviously a band will gain new fans if they become mainstream, cause they get more radio play, and get more people into their music.. liking fall out boy cause you heard them on the radio, does not make you any less of a fan (or any better) than the ones who liked them back in their old days.. OK??!! SECOND.. I am pretty sure (I could be wrong) fall out boy doesn't pick thru their fans to see who has like them the longest, and if you haven't like them for a long time, they don't like you.. The day I hear a member of Fall Out Boy say they don't like "us" will be a day when pigs fly or hell freezes over.. THIRD.. I think Fall Out Boy makes music, partially for people to listen to.. I could be crazy, call me stupid BUT I do think they but CD's out for sale and songs on the radio so people will listen to their music.. and I don't think they chose who "deserves to listen to their 'good' songs" ALSO I happen to believe all Fall Out Boy songs, I have heard (97 songs) are good.. so please could someone fill me in on these special 'good' songs, us slightly new Fall Out Boy fans don't deserve to listen to.. FOURTH.. ok you're right I don't know fall out boy personally, but I know their music.. and I like their music, just the same as you silly old fans that think you are better than us new fans.. FINALLY.. we are all fans of the same band, you'd think you would be happy about other people agreeing on your musical taste call me crazy this is just how I think.. : ) and thanks for reading my angry rant..
