I grew up loving The Smiths more than anything. I felt Morrissey's word actually find my pain and celebrate it for what it was. Now, I am a friend, albeit a late one, of elliott. Mr. Smith does what Morrieys did for me, but with a tenderness and beauty that touches me and comforts me, and actually makes me smile. I feel like I know this guy.
