So, you have decided to take a gander at my journal? Hello, my name is Lacey. I am twenty-nine years old and am currently residing in Boston. However, I am a proud Canadian, born and raised. I graduated from art school a few years back. Ceramics is my forte, rather than drawing or painting. I am the co-owner of a rather successful (if I do say so myself) pottery shoppe, which I recently opened with a friend of mine. If there's one thing that I can almost appreciate more than art (OK, not necessarily more, but equal to), it is music. I have been playing the piano since the age of eleven, and was also a part of my high school's choir (although, that only lasted for about a year). I enjoy going to shows as often as I can afford the tickets. A few of my favorites: Death Cab For Cutie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Feist, Snow Patrol, Weezer, The Postal Service, The Decemberists, Iron & Wine, The Raconteurs, The Strokes, Tegan & Sara. I enjoy many genres of music (excluding hip-hop, rap, country, and mainstream pop). Show me any artist or band with solid lyrics, or a different kind of sound, and I'll appreciate it. I'm somewhat open-minded when it comes to music. I am also greatly interested in high fashion. The spare time that I do not use up by listening to music belongs to flipping through the pages of Flare, Vogue, Elle, and Bazaar. Anyway, thanks for reading.
