• TAKING BACK SUNDAY Saturday night!!!!!!

Should be good! They're at the Electric Factory onstage with Anberlin and Envy on the Coast. Anberlin's new to me. I like their sound and can't wait to see them and TBS Live at a great venue! ___________ I discovered in January (1/23/09 - one of the best days of my life.....) that stadium seating kinda sucks. Like it's good for sports and whatnot... but when your going to see your most favorite band ever (aka THE KILLERS) you'd better get the GA tix so u r right up front or wait till they come around again.... That's why the Electric Factory and the Filmore TLA are so great: tix are less expensive and your standing closer to the band with a whole crowd of people who are into the band. The Killers concert was still AMAZING. saw it up in Toronto with 4 friends. It was a fun trip but we had bought the cheapsky tix on the upper level and while we could still see Brandon(omg he's so hotttt!) rocking out it was not quite the ultimate experience. Now i'm more careful when buying tix to a show(gotta make sure the seats are worth it) Anyway Toronto's a beautiful place to visit and the city is fun and filled with attractive people and cute young cops lol. -----side story-----on our way home we were trying to find the train terminal and asked two cops who had just pulled onto the sidewalk for directions. they told us they were stripper cops hahahahaa we were speechless until they admitted they were joking :p then they helped us out lol. anyway i'll make sure to get back after the concert!

I loveeee the bravery! If u haven't heard them, check out Bad Sun and The Ocean. You won't be disappointed. What i really wanted to address is the albums coming out this season! The Killers with their Day and Age on November 25th. Human their single was good so hopefully the album will follow with equal or better greatness! I have no doubt it will be good! 2nd. Saosin is coming out with a new album... about time!! theirs comes out in February so there's a bit of time till that... in summary: Day and Age - 11/25/08 saosin's - february '09 The Bravery is awesome and keep an eye out for Lady Gaga "The river's running fast right now. It's the time of year the water cleanses itself. Running wild, but always in control. - silverstein i wish silverstein would have more songs like "Love with Caution". Songs that don't involve as much voice straining screaming....

  • VIVA LA VIDA

by oxsweettalkxo on May 11, 2008
I'm so excited for Coldplay's new album "viva la vida" They have a totally new sound, more upbeat with lots more synth and orchestral sounds. (kinda leaning more towards killers style methinks) I really hope i win a pair of those free tickets as well. There concert near philly is really expensive - over 100$ and it's worth it.... i think, but i don't feel like having to pay THAT much....too bad they're so popular haha. anyway, the two songs they released already: violet hill and viva la vida sound great and i already know i like them.... also, the killers need to go on tour, like now.

  • Festival Pier Concert

by oxsweettalkxo on May 11, 2008
Friday night at festival pier Phantom planet, The Hush Sound, Motion City Soundtrack, and Panic! At the Disco played as a part of the honda civic tour. It was a nice outdoorsy concert. We went to see The Hush Sound primerily. The Hust Sound was good, but it's a shame b/c the opening bands never sound as good as the main band b/c the balance of the vocals to instruments is never good - the instruments always overpowering the singer's voices. I think I also became a fan Motion City Soundtrack. Their singer is an awesome guy, i love his style.
