OMG!! Our county 4-H dance is coming up and they asked for music. My siblings, another friend and I submitted some rock songs. Our president didn't submit any and she was furious with the rock songs!! We are the only ones who submitted anything so we got all the songs we wanted approved (they weren't dirty or anything). I don't know how well it will pull off but hopefully Relient K, Journey, ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, and Everyday Sunday will make good partner dancing music. We submitted the rock music because all of us aren't too into country music which is all that they usually play. We like the oldies, classic, and Christian rock songs. We want to hear something that we listen to and actually know. I'm anticipating the dance because I'll know the songs!! Normally when I go to these dances they are full of country music and I don't know any of the songs because that is not what I listen too!! (sigh)

I got new rechargable batteries for my birthday and now I can carry my CD player around instead of using the power cord and staying plugged in all of the time. I took it to work because in the morning I am the only one there and it was really awesome. When Mom is playing her Fleetwood Mac CD for the 2,937th time I can turn on my CD player even out in the living room where Fleetwood Mac is playing. Now you may be wondering why didn't she just use regular batteries before? Simply because I am a cheapstake tightwad. I could have all the batteries in the world if I wasn't so picky to insist that I don't want to buy new batteries all of the time. I could have all of the CD's I drool over at music stores if I would get over it and go ahead and pay more than ten dollars for a CD.

I really like what this site is for. Some songs I just don't get and this will help me out with some of the songs.
